Just finished watching the Four Year Plan. Blimey O Riley, being crowned Champions and seeing all the footage surrounding it had me dewy eyed all over again. It makes me feel even more despondent with how shit things are now, Hughes has us playing dull uninspiring direct long ball football, with highly paid players like Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joey Barton who just aren't putting enough effort in, or even look like they care for anything other than their wages.

The United States will be treated to a relegation special this weekend as the Queen Park Rangers travel up to Bolton to match up against the Wanderers. Coverage begins at 7:30am on ESPN2. I will set my alarm so I don't sleep past kickoff (plenty of time to sleep during the match

). Seriously now folks, I am interested in watching this one. As far as I know there is only one QPR (sminks) and one Bolton (Ali) supporter on this board.

edit: and forgot to add, Ian Darke will be commentator so that is always worth getting up for.

Sirius radio football broadcasters are trying to get a public showing of this doc in New York City. Hope they pull it off.

I can't call it either way but I don't think it will be tight though not considering how poor we both are defensively, on the work accumulator I placed it at 3-3.

We'll have Cisse back which will make a huge difference and we stole a point against Everton, so there remains some optimism in the camp.

If you score first and its within the first 20 minutes of the game you'll go on to score at least three before half time. We are truly shocking in the first 45 minutes away from home, we have players who need a half time bollocking to find motivation.

I have to watch the Four Year Plan, though I did see a trailer for it. Briatore really is crazy. I'd hate to think what I would see if there was a camera on Thaksin the whole time he was at City.

We haven't scored a league goal for a month.... can't see it being 3-3!

On my way to Lotus Road for the Liverpool match. Absolutely need a result tonight or we're Fucked. I can see the Muamba situation galvanizing Bolton, rightly so and Blackburn look like they are digging themselves out. I pray that Hughes does more than look like a man impersonating a clueless manager tonight, we need organising and we need leadership. Dire 0-0 draw beckons I fear.

Smink, do you think Helguson has been hard done by? I don't know if he's injured or anything, but I haven't seen anything of him....is he still even at the club?

Helguson most definitely has been hard done by. Some fans can see why Zamora is ahead of him but Heidar has been frozen out by Hughes since returning from injury. Shabby treatment really. Hughes has been iffy with Mackie as well, he doesn't like their sort it seems, endeavour and attitude over technique and ill discipline. Frustrating manager.
