Manual pass anyone?

I have played many many many people at pes and only played one other person who uses manual passin in their game.
Personally i find manual passing an interestin part of the game and it gives me a chance to play the ball that i want to play instead of just where the other player is. Ever hit a through ball that goes in the wrong direction that u wanted? I use manual passin in those sort of situations.
A good example of a situation is when ur counter attacking and it's 3 against 2 in ur favour and u go to play a through ball and it ends up bein a terrible ball and ur good chance of scoring goes down the drain because of that one pass.

I also use manual pass to play a ball for the striker into the corner flag, this is good if u want to count down the clock or even better put in a cross as the keeper normally comes out to try to get it buts retreats when he realises the balls is headin toward the corner away from him and so when u cross he's out of position.

Anyone else use manual passing?

As Proevo3 wrote, I think using the manual passing system is only effective on counter attacks. Often you're 3 on 2 but you can't score becouse your strikers run the wrong way so they cannot reach the normal pass. But it needs a lot of practice to use manual pass, I had lot of problems with it in the Umbro Challenge

Proevo3, haven't you voted yet?
I use it a bit.

If you mean 'sue', I'm sure we can find some strange people who will sue anything...

I use manual passing, quite a lot now. Started off never using it, then I started fiddling a bit with it, and now about 75% of my passes are manual. It is indeed a lot better to play a ball in front of a player with the analogue.

The problem with the normal through ball is that every single one goes too far and goes to the keeper, but only just, so your striker still runs for it. Bloody frustrating.

I never used manual pass until I read your post: my God what have I been doing all this time!?! it sends the game to whole new level. I always use the manual setting and type 5 control but you are still limted to the amount of control you actually have. I got to thank you for opening my eyes to this little used gem!

It does take some getting use to though but the effort is well worth the while. I wont be looking back.

SO do most of the "pro" people on this forum use manual passing?

I don't often, it's too hard to adjust to the manual passing. Let's be honest, you don't need it that much anyawy.

Its great (Frosties anyone?) for counter attacks and sometimes is much better than the through ball, especially if there is plenty of space between the defence and keeper,.

I got my s#!t down now, my searching balls could be easily compared to the likes of Beckham.

I got to thank you again for the prompt!

By the way you can direct where the ball goes, just needs a little practice.

I think there are 5 options.
