Just use the lobbies, don't use quick match. Then you can create a room and kick out players who you don't want to play.

Hi, I'm new in PES 2011. I just install it, commentary is in English but the text and setting is in a language i dont understand. I've seen series of patches in other thread but dont know which of these patches can fix the problem.

Please I would be very greatfull if someone can help me fix the language problem. I NEED EVERYTHING TO DISPLAY IN ENGLISH.

If you haven't already, you should ask that question in the patch thread you were looking at.

Had a flabbergasting moment that pushed my sanity to the extreme, thankfully the pad and game remain intact, for now...

Anyway I intercepted a pass with my CB 5-8 yards from goal, I have complete control over the situation yet the game decides my player should auto clear the ball into the top corner, I almost had a fucking aneurysm


NO MORE AUTOMATIC FUCKING INTERVENTIONS, its a fucking joke a glitch like this can happen and makes me feel like a twat for rating pes 2011 number 1 in my top 5 games thread.

Segio Ramos did that for me in my BAL season (playing for Bolton btw). Though it wasn't me controlling it, it was still very infuriating....... come to think of it, I think I had something similar (to what you're describing) happen to me in a game against my brother.

The auto tackles are bad enough, but when it kicks the ball for you, it really takes the piss.

I had a bizarre moment where I had switched my left back to a centreback role and the player switching wouldn't allow me to control him. It kept flickering between two midfielders no where near the ball. It didn't help I was playing a tournament with five other friends who mostly swear by FIFA. For hours I got, "That never happens on FIFA" or "This is rubbish, at least on FIFA you get blah blah"

Had the same stuff happen against AI mostly, can't get my head around why it can be so buggy, part of me thinks its a balancing act implemented by konami to limit what you can do, I know that may sound paranoid but konami can make some truly strange decisions.

The cursor change in this game is designed to almost second guess what you do, I notice the game sometimes selects a player where it thinks the ball is going to end up, this sometimes causes confusion with switching.

I honestly believe that too much is active during a match for the game engine to handle, you've attacking preferences, players personal attacking preferences, game plan add to that semi or assisted player switching and the game gets in a muddle.

Konami admitted on a previous PES the multi layered attacking preferences on player and team confused the AI.

Good point, almost along the lines of what seabass himself said regarding control being taken away from the user due to the game becoming over complicated.

With all the complaints about wonky AI, I'm surprised the Wii version of PES isn't more popular in the PES community. Perhaps even more criminal are the numerous YT videos that utilize the traditional controls over the vastly superior pointer controls.

Is the online ML really that good? I know it's not the Friend Code issue that push players towards the PS360 versions of PES because there are even more complaints about random matches than those about the AI.

why is it that the game insists on me conceding in the worst ways possible at the worst moments in time?

Champions League Final, its 1-1 and 80 Minutes gone. For some reason my defence loses itself and the ball is just bobbling around the box and my defenders fail to clear and ignore my attempt to hold circle to clear the ball out the box. Instead they tap the ball forward right to a player who has an open net.

Honestly computer always messes around with my defence its just annoying. I concede in the stupidest of ways!

Tell me about it. There's nothing you can do about it. It's just the way the game has always been.

You've come to the support thread, so I'm guessing you want advice? My advice would be to try and contain your anger when such a thing happens (because it does happen a lot!). Don't take it out on the cat, or Mrs PEM! Remember that you don't want to be shelling out 35 quid for a new controller!
