tought week to pick. I will (EDIT) play Fletcher but unsure of his starting coming back from injury. I wish Drogba would get the start against Liverpool but I am sure Boas will waste that spot on Torres. Anderson, not likely to start with his piss poor passing for Man U. Finally, Kuyt a gamble to start but feel it this week.

I think playing Kuyt could pay off for you brother. I'm surprised you've not squeezed a story out of the whole racism fiasco involving your centre back Anton Ferdinand mind - you've a golden opportunity to go to town in the Press Room with that.

I can't believe Stearman fractured his foot. Now I have to put in the spicy chicken man, Michel Salgado - and forces me to play Anton Ferdinand again. I'm starting to play just for 2 points in my mid-field and forwards - not a good thing.

The names look good in front of the backers but that is smoke an mirrors; very low confidence in any of them except Gervinho. I should be playing Fletcher instead of Drogba, however both are due. Almost a coin toss moment. Trying to do better than last week's 17points. I can feel 18 this week. Kuyt remains a useless 15m purchase - I don't expect him to start.

edit: son of a bitch. Just learned Gutierrez is under a one game ban for a red card. c'mon now. Park for Gutierrez. My 18 points just became 16.

Last season, that front 6-7 would've been excellent.

Nani, Drogba, Kuyt, Lampard, Hernandez - they were points in the bank.

Still, plenty of potential scorers in that starting line-up - you just need one of those weeks where they all find the net to lift your spirits.

I never got a chance to post a new team this matchweek but that's OK, I believe my carry over roster would have been the choice anyway. Interesting to see if Hughes starts because that would have been my only change for Stearman.

Defense returns to Iron City United. Last week starting defenders captialized on 23 of 35 possible defensive points. Prior to the transfer window, United defenders had only scored 41 points over a span of the last 10 weeks. Quite a contrast and a vast improvement.

Now if recent purchase, David Luiz, was only to retain his starting position.
