Today's football news item from Turkey: Ivelin Popov of Gaziantepspor playing like shit and earning the lionshare in his side's 3-1 (not finished yet) defeat to Trabzonspor.
In 50 minutes he has scored an own goal, missed a penalty and conceded a penalty which was scored. What a tard. |

Holy shit mate, all sorts of stuff going on in this game. There is a rule in the Turkish league that says you can't have more than 6 foreign players on the pitch at all times. Well these boneheads made a sub which meant that they had 7 players on the pitch. This went on for 4 minutes before they corrected it. Then their goalie was sent off for a foul in the box and Trabzonspor scored. They have a midfielder in goal and it's 4-1. What a bizarre game.

Shhhh I avoid their scores as best I can until their games are over. They've made INCREDIBLE comebacks when I've turned on for the last five minutes or checked their scores late on and they've been behind.

You know, I'm genuinely concerned for Inter. If they continue being shit, they won't have European football next season and it could give them a big advantage in next season's title race - look at Juventus this season; yes they made heavy investments Inter can't possibly match but that's no way of guaranteeing you'll be unbeaten in mid-February. Genuinely concerned....because it might help them become good later on.
One out of Napoli, Roma and Inter should miss out on Europe altogether assuming the top four don't collapse - Udinese look the most likely to do so after Isla's injury and are only six points clear of seventh. |

Firstly to correct my previous post: TWO out of Roma, Napoli and Inter will miss out on Europe entirely if neither Napoli or Inter win the Champions League and Napoli don't win the Coppa Italia/reach the final (they're trailing Siena 2-0 after the first leg of their semi-final) as things stand.
Top two get automatic CL qualification, third is a qualifying round place, fourth and fifth are in the EL play-off round. So, in answer to your question Meyyappan, not if Inter fail to finish in the top five (top six if Napoli win the Coppa Italia/reach the final). As things stand: Code:

Fuck you Catania. Marco Motta, ex-Juventus defender gets sent off. I guess Juventus won't be needlessly complaining about referees this week then. We have to hammer Cesena. |
