Some Tips for Beating The Defensive side in PES 2012

Hi guys , well , i`m not a great player but i have some tips for PES 2012 Gameplay about how we can score more goals , and i have got my tips from Gamescom Gameplay videos .

1 - Changing Directions : i have seen that the AI defense is trying to hold up the play and to catch the attackers wherever they go , so my tips for that situation is by changing direction while having the ball or while dribbling , and i don`t mean changing directions only but ( going to the opposite side of the defender ) , if you always go to the opposite side of any defender that is coming to take the ball from you , you will win the situation and have the ball still .

2 - Receiving the ball direction : well , before receiving the ball , try to figure out your position ( where are you on the pitch and your body angle ) , so when you get the ball , you can change your direction in a right side for having the ball and sending it to your teammates .

3 - Slowing down the game speed : i think we all know that , by slowing the game speed ( such as 0 , -1 or -2 ) , the game pace will be more fluid and playable , since the AI is very smart and knows what to do , so we have to take more time to think how to beat them .

4 - Watch your teammate before receiving the ball : many good players can do that , to watch their teammate`s position before you receive the ball , so once you get the ball , you will know where is your teammate so you can pass to him in a short way and in a fast time .

5 - One foot to have the ball and one to play : it may sound odd but i think it works , once you have the ball , try to receive it on one foot , and play the ball with the other one , that will make the Gameplay more fast for your team and let you score more goals , the point is about ( decision ) , is to decide which foot will receive the ball , and which one will play it in a short and a quick time .

Sorry mate but your tips dont make any sense to me. They would probably be handy for someone who had never played football before and was about to play a game in real life but for Pro Evo they just dont work.

Changing direction when trying to go past a defender is an obvious tactic but the AI is capable of sticking a leg out and robbing you from impossible angles, even when you have wrong footed him. The biggest unfair advantage the CPU players seem to have is that they have no inertia. While your own players skid past like they're on ice or take an age to turn they are turning on a sixpence and running off at speeds that make a mockery of their stats. This has always been the case in Pro Evo games.

It's early days I know but I'm finding the AI even more "cheaty" and unfair this time around. They defend in numbers all along the 6 yard line and as well as the "no inertia" thing I mentioned above they also break tackles and skip around your defenders like they aren't there with worrying regularity which makes them feel unstoppable at times. It doesn't matter whether you're playing Barcelona or Racing Genk (no offence intended Genk fans), the AI players are nearly always faster and stronger than your own despite what the stats say.

I'm not saying I cant win, far from it. What I'm saying is that it's not very enjoyable to play a football game where the odds feel so unfairly stacked against you at times. Even if you are controlling Barcelona and you're playing against a much weaker side.

I wish someone would post some REAL tips that could help but I'm starting to think that playing against the AI is always going to be a bit of a grind.
