Small Additions

Following on the the weather change thread i thought it would be worth starting a new one.. we all go on about gameplay etc which obviously is very important. I personally love the small effects and they really make a difference to me.

In the demo i love how when you strike the ball hard and it goes wide you can hear the sound of the ball hitting the boards.. i love it.

So what else would be good?

I noticed that when the ball goes into the crowd it bounces off them like there is an invisible wall.. don't like that.

In 2013 they should try to add.

weather changes during the game
bit more crowd interaction.. maybe a fan could throw the ball back
ball boys
a sound when you hit the net
new crowd atmosphere
ref gets in the way (like on fifa)
better sound effect for when you shoot and pass the ball.. I thought 2011 had the best sound for hitting the bar or post.. its ok now but proffered it before.

I have thought of more but cant remember some of them at the moment. i will add them on when i remember

I really love this version! Love when you just turn to look at a player they always try to create space! Its brilliant! Scored some amazing goals! My FIFA playing friends are considering PES now which im shocked about!

For 2013 I would change:

Replays... I think some sort of replay system that you see in racing games, PES replay system isn't that good, camera angles are awkward and haven't changed in 10 years.

Goalkeepers... When after they have saved it to be a bit quicker to distribute the ball and have more freedom and fluidity with this.

Sound of passing... Its too loud, every pass is really loud, you cant even hear passing in a match, would like to hear a little but not so loud, maybe this can be turned down, does anyone know?

Animations... To be fair its quite good this year, maybe just a bit more fluidity.

On screen stats... Like possession, shots on goal, number of passes, flashing up on screen, obviously not too disruptive! Would just add to the competitiveness with a mate!

Think all these things are quite easy to implement. Will tweat them to John Murphy! Gameplay is near spot on!!! I love it!

I think not... Game play, graphics, all teams sponsored and new game modes would be a BIG ADDITION.

Some good ideas there....im sure they could add them into this version if they really wanted to.

on screen stats should be standard ....quick throws from goalkeepers and throws definitely.. I think fifa has toned down the sound of passing the ball. to be honest i do like it have the sound.

Yeah on screen stats would be a very easy thing to add in, hope they do next year. Yeah in fifa there is no sound but I think pes is too loud. I agree I think I prefer it, adds substance to the pass but think it should a little quieter. Sounds like a balloon popping hah!

I don't like how the cross bar or post sounds when the ball hits it... it sounds like a bamboo stick LOL ...... oh and I don't want the Ref getting in the way... It would really irritate me.

how about giving us back aggragate home and away games for single game settings like in the PES6?? I don't know why they even too that out!

Great ideas, i like them!

Those are the things i would like to see in PES

- Small flags on the crowd
- When you score an amazing goal, the camera should point at the crazy crowd
- More realistic sky during the match, like moving clouds
- A callname creator
- Fireworks when you win a competition
- When you do a feint, the crowd would say "Ooooh!" and the commentator would say "Nice trick!"

Those are all my ideas!

One of my biggest gripes I hope gets fixed - more daytime games in season mode, a lot more daytime games in season mode. In fact, completely flip the 2011 ratio of night:day. Dear Konami - we know you have the champions league that are all played at night but it should end there.

I dislike the entire dark atmosphere PES has - compare PES to FIFA. FIFA is bright, blue skies, feels so inviting. PES is dark and gloomy. PES rarely puts daylight in their advertisements and trailers. The FIFA add running in the US right now is a killer presentation.

Master League:
- Bring back the graphs to show what the player stats were when he joined the team and current stats.

- Give possibility to check finances on players brought in and players sold. Often I'd like to see how much profit I made by buying cheap and selling then.

- Scout list has a limit of max players, this is understandable but give an another list where user can add bigger amount of players to follow. Kind of like a "notelist", but scout doesn't gather any info of them.

- Make players more reactive to your teams current state when they consider joining your team. For instance your team is in CL this year = more interest from players. At the moment players seem to only look at your Team Ranking.

they could & SHOULD add all these updates before christmas, if not, i will not have the same amount of respect for konami, i think konami are without question one of the best, if not the best game devolopment company but i mean if they do not listen to the fans, then what is the point of trying ?
