Nobody should expect you to get everything dead on. But what you do seems to work, and playing against Barca AI with your instructions feels quite authentic. ;Much more so than the Konami original. And playing with Barca with your instructions feels very much like you expect of Barca. Their players are all over the place, and you have at least two good passing possibilities almost always.

Being a Spurs fan, I know for a fact that the setup in this thread is pretty much dead on. I had set up a Spurs tactic myself that worked pretty well, but with the one in this thread it's more or less perfect.

You're good, I'm just saying in case you didn't already know that. And we're grateful for what you do in this thread, even if it contains one or two errors.

And to you guys who thinks a detail here and there is wrong about one club or another, use these guides as guidelines, and tweak them into your liking. For example, I noticed that some of the starting lineups here are a bit weird seeing who's on the bench in some clubs, and then I noticed that this and that player is injured in real life at the moment. I personally put in the player I felt was most suited in the position in question. (Arsenal right back, Roma left SS/LM etc.)

Again, thank you for your great work. It's doing wonders for my enjoyment of the game.

I would very much like a good PSV real life tactic. cause i don't really find out what i need to do with all things to get it quite nice.

I am having trouble coming up with a successful tactic for my own ML team lol. I wish we had a break down of exactly how each different setting actually affects the team. For instance I play a modified 3-5-2, ive been using that since pes6! I used 3 cbs, 2 DMFS, 2 SMFs, 1 AMF, 1 SS, and 1 CF. However I can not keep my smfs out wide, my SS tracks back and I find him back beyond the DMFs sometimes. and the 3 CBs are all smushed in the middle. I know I could probably make them RB/LB...but then they would go forward and I dont want that as itd leave me more vulnerable than i already am at the back. So anyone got any tips or any suggestions on what i could try to make this system work? Thanks!

After a long weekend out, come back. Decided to change many player ratings.

Seemed clear there was something wrong with Messi's and Iniesta's ratings. Especially Messi's it's very wrong, it's also why he just permanently runs at players instead of try to pass. It's almost as if since Ratface Roanldo is on the cover he decided to sabotage Messi's ratings out of spite.

- Both attack and defense level need to be 2. The default 3 and 1 is stupid and that's not messi's mentality in real life.

- Give Messi the 'track back' card. Since he does like all Barca players track back and help out with the pressure.

other modifications:

- Increase weak foot frequency to 4, and accuracy to 5 or 6.
- Increase his stamina
- Increase Top speed for anything between 77-80

With Iniesta, again like with Messi, Attack and Defence levels must both be at 2, Also if you wish knock Xavi's attack down to 2.

With the formation. In my opinion after all the testing it's 'complete' ONLY that Barca are a bit crap defensively when position switch is set to 18, so I'll update the tactic and like last year set them to have 0 position switch

They keep the ball more also when it's set to 0 position switch.

Hi Klashman, cheers for all your hard work. Can you briefly explain what your 'standard' x 2 Everton tactics are. I am enjoying using your settings but I am keen to hear what both 'standard' settings are set out to achieve.
Thanks mate

Think they are pretty much the same, just slightly less pressure.

Could you do one for Peru?

I'm not Peruvian, I've just always played with them in the ISS/PES games.

Hi Klash,
i know that you are Arsenal fan.
Can you say something about this tactic. Do you play as a Arsenal with this set up?
When I use Arsenal i have some doubts about it.
I do not know what you had in mind by settings those 4 tactics. In which moment of game you change them?
And generally how you play with them ??

cheers

Have now tested with konami patch 1.1 and in my opinion it is better without it.

The ai moves better and makes more space, with the patch 1.1 you realty notice the lack of player movement.

My settings superstar,-2 game speed,konami patch removed,goalgerds option file,klashmann tactics,chimps gameplay edit

Game now plays like a dream
