Stop being so stupid by having 'funny' balls, big heads and other pathetic things nobody wants. It's insulting to your user base and adds nothing to the game. I can just see Team Konami selecting to play with the 'candy sweat' ball, tears of laughter running down their face, falling off their chairs at the comedy genius they've created onscreen. And the stadium banners, oh the hilarity continues. 'Who ate all the pies', good one lads. Although that's probably better than other ones that say 'Go for the win'. Honestly, has anybody ever turned up at a football match with a banner saying that? Also, it's pointless having classic teams when the names are wrong and they look nothing like the person anyway. Does anybody ever use classic teams? What's the point?

Oh my dear God, who on earth is in charge of audio? Are you actually paying people to write and compose the 'music' in this game? It's the most obscure, ear splitting abomination I've ever heard, bordering on the hilarious. At least on 2011 there were a couple songs from Keane and Temper Trap that were acceptable, recognisable songs and everything else could be turned off. This year is horrific, there's even a song on there that halfway through some angry demonic spirit summoned from the dead starts shouting a la The Exorcist, like I've just walked into a Slipknot concert. Last year there was the classic tune 'Midnight mass, midnight mass, midnight mass', I mean what on earth is going on here, is it just me? Is there a Konami employee rocking out to these tunes thinking 'this is genius', and that we're going to be bobbing our heads refusing to start the match until our new favourite song has finished? The commentator one has been done to death, but then you haven't even tried to do anything with this. Get Guy Mowbray for commentary. There, I solved the commentary problem almost instantly. But don't have him read out that awful script that I pressume was written by some Konami execs 10 year old kid on 'bring your children to work' day or something.

Licences, just forget them Konami. Whatever you're paying for the UEFA licenses then dump it, could probably hire 20 new members of staff for the same price. Hire me, 6 animation/graphics artists, 6 testers, 6 sound/audio people and someone who specialises in product promotion and we are half way to nirvana.

That is a really good point. I really like having CL and Europa league embedded in the league modes but it somewhat comical that they probably spend a lot of money on it. Although, they do get the PES12 in the banners of the real-life games so the product placement is absolutely necessary. But without any serious other licensing, is it worth the cost to put it in the game at the expense of some other improvement?

To go along with your piece, I don't foresee Konami spending money on new technicians when they won't even pay money enough to employ a 14yr-old kid who can better update his own roster at 30 times the rate that Konami does (October & March roster updates, cmon).

I write it here too much, but I will again - go to Konami's website. It is horrible, has poor flow, bad design, and weak data integration. This from a professional audio-visual company? The company keeps the bar set very low. Why would they do anything differently for the PES team?

lmao that is the funniest post i've seen on this forum walmo, absolute quality, great read, had me laughing all the way through, especially the 'go for the win' part, hilarious. some things are just so retarded about the game. i also hate the things like special hairstyles, where theres a variety of baseball caps, elvis hair style etc, so fucking annoying, especially when they dont even make for example a david beckham hairstyle from the time he was at real madrid, but its ok konami i'll create elvis presley and fred durst instead and have them playing up front for my legends dream team. one thing i do actually like tho mate is the classic teams, although all the players are fake, and their faces just look like all the same guy but with different hairstyles, their statistics are accurate, and if you can be bothered you can edit all the names to their real life ones, and find a good face formula on the net to make them look like the real thing, once you do that then your classic teams can look amazing and makes it enjoyable to play as them.

Classic players is brilliant and should be expanded to include classic club teams as well as other World Cup squads.

totally agree mate. classic teams and players are amazing, and i often think it would be awesome if they added classic club teams to unlock, for example Man Red 99 (Manchester United 1999 treble winning squad), North London 04 (Arsenal Invincibles) Madrid 03 (Real Madrid Galacticos) and so on. That would be amazing and not that hard for them to do.

Don't forget Colombia '94 , and the Milan and Ajax 80's etc. For that matter, every team that's ever won a World Cup.

They could use the fact that they are not bound by licenses to their advantage but of course....

ya i agree with the op 100 percent. Insted of liscencing for say the entire League 1 take that money and give all the classic players preset faces...i would love that shit.It would give me more inscentive to actually unlock them. PLaying with Pele,Maradona,Zidane,Ronaldo (with the wierd haircut) real faces would be the best thing ever. Seeing how Daymos makes great OF's id prefer the budget be spread out more ...maybe discontinue the europa league liscense and maybe add more acceseries like neck warmers and extra boots

Hate the extras, pointless and the tunes are terrible, i plug my ipod in, listening to oasis, kasabian etc actually improves the game 1 million %. As for features, one of my favorite pro evo ideas was when you could mix and match home and away kits, so when United played City for example you could use the black shorts from Uniteds away kit so they wouldn't clash with the white short of Citys, i think it was pro 6, brilliant idea which they should brin back imo.

To those saying that they disagree with having Classic teams in there then fair enough. Just to point out that I'm not against having them in at all, just that if they don't have proper names and look nothing like the people then it's all a bit pointless in my opinion.

I'd actually be all for embracing a proper 'Classic' game mode, where you would have to complete game scenarios based on real games of the past. Or you could play a past World Cup with all the squads specific to that tournament?

You see it's this kind of thinking that seems missing at Konami, it's so disappointing as it really isn't hard.

I was thinking the same. The heads and strange balls are just wrong. And have i been abducted or something, Never heard of any of the "Classic Players"
