manual long pass

hello everybody. i am learning to do manual pass and i can't seem to get used to the manual long chip pass. every time i press L1 and touch the right anologe the bar just shoots straight up and over hits the ball. any tips. oh yeah does any one try to score using manual pass. thanks.

WTF is that picture about, you fool!

There is already a thread dedicated to manual passes.
Don't people read the threads already on here!
try to add to them rather than making new ones which are about the exact same thing.

Manual pass can be used to score but is best for an open goal or when you want to backheel it in which is hard.
But there's always the chance of missing so practice.

The long manual pass is what I use to make defensive clearances as you can direct the pass and the power doesn't matter as it needs to go far anyway.
It's also good for cross field balls, Beckham style.

Practicing on the training ground is the best option so try that.

Now please explain why you have graced us with such a huge picture of the A-Team van.
