How to beat Barcelona?

Ok just come off a stretch of 8 games. First 5 games were against people who were Barcelona and they were all lower ranked than me... Lost all 5...

The next 3 games were against players higher ranked than me as other top teams, AC Milan, Man City and Real Madrid. I won all 3.

Ive been playing pes since pes 2 and I think im pretty good, hovering around the 580 mark online but im really struggling against auto-goal-barcelona... Sick of people being them and I just cannot beat them, doesnt matter if the player is crap, one guy was through balling from defence to messi and managed to score twice and my possession was 70% I was all over him but he won because of this...

Anyone found a way because its getting boring now... Was really nice playing against AC Milan it was a hard game and I just won but the guy invited me to his community because clearly he recognised that it was nice both teams not choosing the auto-win team!

HELP!

It's not that hard. I handle them all the time. Mainly, try to use a defensive line as deep as it gets, go for the Long Ball tactic or manually drag it to 0. Then mark their players. Through balls are easy to intercept most of the time. I find it harder to stop Messi's dribbling abilities or his shots from that angle (ya'll know it), than stopping a lame through ball.

I go for the opposite tactic. Line as high as possible and keep the ball! Works wonders for those who keep trying to release messi. Any through ball is intercepted high enough up the field that im straight back on the attack

I played with AC Milan
I play All out attack all the time with 3-4-4 with high defense line.
Mt only defendor is Tiago Silve who can stop Messi or Ronaldo
I win most of my matches against them.

no wonder you win most your matches considering you play with 12 men

You must tell me how you managed that

Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney.

you only need one of them so try to play with Liverpool, Chelsea or United.

NOTE: on United use Rooney as AMF.

Try to score from outside the penalty area, Victor Valdez is crap with those shots

I am sorry it is not 3-4-4 , it is 3-3-1-3
I really win most of my matches against Barcelona and Real, that's because i attack from the beginning of the match and i have the ball 70% of the match so i have an opportunity to score.
I also play using offside trap which helps me to stop most the incoming attacks.
I have Aquilani, Van Bomel and Kevin Prince in the middle whose have the ability to cut the ball easily.
Messi or Ronaldo can be managed by surrounding them with many players, some times i play man on them using Abate for Ronaldo and Tiago for Messi.
When my opponent surprised from the beginning of the match by my extreme attack, he begins to make mistakes.
Try it.
3-3-1-3
All out attack
Max pressure
Offside Trap

You defender and your two back players have to be fast enough.

Pressure = 20

Compactness = 0

I guarantee you will win your matches against these clubs

Yeah im still around the 580 mark, mainly due to being at 620 then the connection dropped and I got docked 30 points!

But every time someone is Barcelona I play as Barcelona and I think Im typically better than 80% of people I play so end up winning usually.

I can handle Real Madrid ok (except crossing they are good) so this is how im playing.

It made me want to quit when I dropped 30 points but ive started playing again! My aim is top 100. Pes 6 I managed 9 in the world playing as Inter (ADRIANO!!) but cant see that happening now with this game. Beating someone gives me like 4 points but losing takes away 20. A bit demoralising...

I never had much problems playing vs Barça, you just have to make sure you get one player running towards the fast players whilst jockeying with a defender behind.
Most of these players are VERY predictable so you just have to anticipate and time it.
Vs Barça, I usually pick Arsenal or AC Milano.

Arsenal are seriously beefed up simply because of the one player that they improved immensely, RVP xD and they have seriously devastating speed that even Barça find difficult to keep up. On corners if you know what you are doing, Mertesacker pretty much wins every header.

AC Milan, i think are in a lot of aspects stronger. Don´t be afraid to run with Ibra, he has high top speed stats and makes up for his slow acceleration with his strength.
You can also mix it up by just thumping the ball forward to Ibra to head down to onrushing teammate. I like to play a kind of Barça style formation but with LMF and RMF as opposed to 2 SS´s with Robinho on the left and Abate on the right. Later on (Maybe the 60´minute, ill bring on Cassano and Pato) Their midfield are very good and most have 85+ shot power, so get those long shots off.

best was winning a decent rated Barça player with RCD Espanyol xDDD

IMO, people choose barcelona not because they are strong. I think because they are fans. I still don't get it why people complain about this. messi has 78 stamina, he can't play for 90 minutes. barca doesn't have a substitute for villa and messi also. Hardly to score by heading using barca. Man city and AC milan is way stronger than Barca.
Madrid has a similar difficulty with barca that they don't have a good subs but still ronaldo, benzema can make a goal by heading.

Messi can run though your whole team he is on a high, thats frustrating. And iniesta and Xavi never fail a pass. Their centre backs are big and they have 2 good holding midfielders.

I think if Messi is on a down then they usually can't score. The other strikers are not that good to get through good defences.

Still not found the best team to be, Man City maybe, will try Arsenal as a post above suggests!
