Teamwork vs Individual Skills

In terms of team play in MLO, there are basically two ways to play the game. 1.) Teamwork - having 10 players in an attacking role, except that this tends to leave your team pressed too far up leaving spaces behind the CBs. On the other hand, Individual Skills - creates opportunities to score, but on the downside this allows the other team to operate their attack.

So here is my question.

Imagine If I want to get the highest rating online, I know with C. Ronaldo I would play teamwork since he can be setup by other star players but what about Messi? Do I play teamwork and have him dictate the game or count on my team on defense?
