Well lads, just got back

From Sunlun vs. Millwall.

Absolutely top notch day out, despite the result. Wise and Muscat are ****s, although Trigger wasnt much better.

At the end of the day, we froze. Millwall werent much better than us, but whey they had the ball we seemed to push into he middle, allowing them to play it down the wings. Our positioning was awful anarl.

Second half, we had alot of chances, and alot of position, but just couldnt make it count. Afer McCartney and Piper missed their chances, I knew it was over, but still.

Old Trafford is in excellent stadium mind. I was sat in the block right next to the tunnel, which had an excellent view, although it was hard to see what was going on at the other end of the pitch. Thats why I normally prefer not to sit behind the goal, but that cant be helped today.

I know there are alot of Man United and Arsenal fans on here (alot of whom dont go to matches), but with me not being born in 73', and was too young to remember 92', semi final appearances for Sunderland are a bit of a one off. As I said, alot of the Man U and Arse fans who are competing in finals every year will have been in this position before, but I havent, and the memories of today will live with me forever. Although I am gutted, I am proud of what my team and fans have achieved, and hopefully this isnt the last time I will be at OT for a semi final.
