I meant the opposite. If a 21 year old is the best player in the league he should just get the Player of the Year award, and leave the YP to someone else.

Have to say though, as happy I am to see Chamberlain in the running for young player, he hasn't featured that much in the league this season and shouldn't really be in there. Next year could be a different story though.

Bale would have won it last season definitely. This season, although he's playing more defensive, has degraded for him and has looked of the pace for some of the season so Aguero would be the obvious choice. However, knowing the amount of attention the U-19's get, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ox didn't win it eventhough I doubt it. And to be fair, Parker has been great as a holding midfielder as he hardly ever gets caught in midfield and he controls the tempo of the play with his hard defensive work and knowing his teammates very well

Krul should have been nominated for Young Player of the Year.

I also think Alex Song has been far more impressive than Parker in the same role.

Song's been great but defensively Parker is much better. His positioning and timing and his never die attitude is just unique. Theres better in the world, but in my opinion he is the best Defensive Midfielder in he League currently

Even though he's had a stop start season I'd say Tiote is better than him.

I would say Alex Song is better.

But when you look at the quality of Arsenal's front man and compare him to Tottenham's, its quite easy to say that Song will have a lot more assists and goals compared to Parker. Anyway, look at the more defensive features, Parker is clearly better and his performances defensively have been much better. Basically, his defensive strengths are better than Songs. Who do you think is better TH14, M'Vila or Song?
