Do you take off your footwear when you're inside your house?

I have the greatest slippers (below), so aim to be shoeless in the house as frequently as possible.



I'm getting wistful just thinking about them.

I wont allow you in with shoes. I'll tell ya what though I dislike people who walk around outside in their socks and then think they can come in. No you cannot.

So much talk of slippers from ones so young! I must admit I am shocked.

Footwear is usually taken off at the door at my abode. We have wooden flooring, but there is a long, thin rug running from the front door to the stairs into the kitchen, not easy taking off shoes when your hands are full of shopping bags and you have two cats desperately trying to trip you up so they can inspect the contents.

I can't remember the last time I was asked to take my shoes off when they're clean. That's what door matts are for unless you've got filthy shoes no need to take them off. I just ask people to wipe their feet when they come in my house,.
I never wear shoes in my house and would never be caught dead ever wearing slippers.
