Question was henry's goal against liverpool ACTUALLY that good??

I think NO. I think that it was one of the easiest goals he will ever score. Goal of the season?? MY ARSE. Liverpools defending was absolutely woefull. they just backed off and backed off and let him walk it into the net. and every pundit in the country is saying how it was such an amazing dribble & great finish. I could have done that given that much time & space. And to think this is being tipped for goal of the season!!? pffffft

i think it was quite a good goal, but i agree that Liverpools defending was terrible as one of their players fell over and took out biscan, who probably would have got across to put in a challenge. Also i dont think that it should be goal of the season as he has scored much better than that this year.

oh shut it ...yeah the defending was bad but it still ranks up there. he still ran 50 yards with the ball and made them all look like ****s.

Liverpools defence is pretty fragile and i must say that the goal was soft.

That goal wasn’t anything special. He out paced Hamann and the defenders just backed off, none of them even made a challenge. He had so much time to finish it off. It was a soft goal to concede.

it was good for the fact that he turned one way and took out 3 defenders in one go.

and made jamie look like a monkey, you can hardly critisize him for poor defending though...

fing with henry is tht he makes most things look soo easy! gettin thru hamman and then making carragher look shite takes alot he just spread open the liverpool defence with his run! it wouldn't make the top 10 goals but it was class

4 goals against leeds... indescribable!!!

no, hamman tripped over himself. then everyone else just backed off, carragher attempted to tackle him but it was too late, if they had'nt backed off so much and actually tackled him, then this thread wouldnt exist

I thought his second goal against inter milan was better but it was a top drawer goal all the same.
