Thanks for the help everyone. It was a long winded process for me to get rid of the error. But basically you were all right, I just needed to update my PS3 and the PES to their current versions and now it all works smoothly! This is fantastic, well done.

Thanks mate. I will have to give this a try. Do you have to be connected to the internet to do that? Because my ps3 is at Uni on campus and they block internet to ps3 devices.

I dont get it, I never got the option to overwrite or not. The game loads up, then the system data loads, then the edit data, but thats when I get the error message. Then I try to load the file from EDIT on the main screen but the same error message appears after 50% and load fails.

When there's an update to this file will I have to copy over ALL files all over again? Or just the new files? PS Great OF!
