I also use a ps2 adapter and everything´s fine.it feels exactly like playing in the ps2...but with better graphics!!:)

I think u should uninstall the game and then reinstall it. U´re game doesnt seem to be correctly installed or maybe u´re computer doesnt meet the minimum requirements.

Wel i think i found the solution. I turned v-sync on and i think the game is back to normal. Try it out and let me now. I also installed nvidia forceware drivers 67.03

What drivers do u have? Did u change anything in cards control panel (like antialysing, etc)? Have u played the game in ps2 or with other graphic card? U will only know if the game is slow with the 6600gt if u ever played on those circumstances.

I have the same problem! Funny thing is that before i had a ATI 9550 extreme and the game ran as smooth as it can get and now i bougth a XFX 6600 GT and the game is slow!! This is really pissing me...i tried everything even formatted my computer so theres no chance of driver conflicts, also...
