Well that's disappointing. I guess some people are so eager to play a working version of pes that they even imagine it working properly and get other people's hopes up.

I said 'apparently' it solves some lag issues, I never claimed the statement to be a fact. Some players have reported that since downloading the update the game has ran smoother, particuarly online. I don't know if this is true as I've not played a game online yet.

Hey, I've just discovered this site and am hoping to find some people who can help my edit the player faces for my beloved Reading FC (PS3). I've not been playin PES for long only since PES 6, and think of it as the time when I started playing real console football.

Yeah the EyeToy doesn't give the best results, hopefully once it's released the PlayStation Eye will produce better quality photo's.

Apparently downloading the latest firmware; 2.01 fixes some lag issues. It's available now using the System Update on your XMB.
