You can't transfer a player that is currently in the first team line-up into an unregistered squad place. You have to first swap the player you want with another player from the same team that is below about the 15th member down and then put him into the team that you want in an empty slot...

Also don't press towards goal before your shot for too long or else your shot will turn into a pea-roller. Best results come from pressing away from goal slightly after you press shoot. If I was you I would practice in training to find your timing.

Nice one mate! He looks good but I might bring down his Attack rating because I think its his off the ball movement that needs improving in his game but everything else seems to be realistic.
