I hadn't seen any differences in online gameplay until I got the deflated ball icon because of cheaters and stopped playing.

They are very annoying... It's possible to watch highlights at the end of the match, but they obviously do it on purpose. This is what I always did when I used to play online: When I concede first, I see what the person do and then memorize it to do the same thing after every goal scored by me...

I find it quite easy to stop that kind of play as your opponent becomes so much predictable. The problem is that, sometimes, the cursor selection let you down and let their strike get past the defense easily.

I have finally given up on online mode. PES 2012 will have to improve a lot in this mode as there are lots of issues with connection and cheaters.

Konami, seriously, let players have the power to skip other players's replays. It seems most players love to do that just to make their opponents angry.

From my experience, I can tell yes, it's cheating. Your opponent is losing by such a good margin that there is little chance to come back. Then he pauses the game, the green circle shows up and eventually the message "lost connection to player" is displayed. You go check your stats and see...
