The resigner is just a piece of software that can be downloaded for free. You first download the save to your computer, change the save's IDs to match your own and then transfer it to your own HDD/memory unit by using a x-sata/x-port.

If that's the case, maybe it can be bypassed by using a resigner? With the resigner you can change the profile, system and HDD IDs linked to the save file and assign your own IDs. I've seen the same trick used with NHL 2k8, a game that doesn't have roster sharing via Live, but has gotten...
