I have lost any respect I had for EA Sports (none whatsoever, incidentally) after seeing one of their campaign ads for F*F* 06... "and Chester City are staying up! It's a miracle!". They obviously haven't seen the mighty Blues in action this season, in the top three of League Two.

I'm having it delivered on Friday, hopefully, from Gameplay.com - just £29.99 plus 99p first class postage delivery!!

Is it just me who's slightly worried after reading those reviews?

I find it funny that all these who declare "CM 5 rulez!!" have only got a demo to base this on seeing as it's a totally brand-new game in every way bar it's name, yet Football Manager 2005 has 10-12 years of games that everybody loved so much!

The new PES3 screenshots on the www.pesinsight.com home page make for disappointed reading. The game itself seems class, but I'm just a little worried about the numerous mis-spellings that are shown on some of the screenshots. "AS Rome" (instead of Roma) and "Fomation" (without the R) seem...

I think the annoying and poor elements of the commentary in PES are the fault of the scriptwriters, rather than the commentators themselves.

I started out with Fifa 97, and played that from onwards. Then I discovered ISS and PES, and I've never looked back. I have seen the light, and it is PES.

Some of the player names are even funnier! Where did they come with the likes of: Injurado (for Hurtado) - ha! Moonsing (for Sunsing) - ha! The majority of them are anagrams, then you get ones like those mentioned above, then there are completely weird ones such as M. Smith (for Matthew...

West Midlands Village should be about right. Lloyd is so funny, I burst out laughing at that one. Can you imagine someone like Peter Brackley announcing the teams at the start of a match: "Good afternoon and welcome to today's featured game between Trad Bricks and Llyod." So funny!

It's a difficult decision. I HAVE got a CD-Writer on my PC, but I don't want to shell out nigh on £100 altogether in ordering WE7 from Japan AND chipping my Playstation 2 (which is NOT chipped). Will there be any PES3 patches - as I may just buy PES3 when it comes out, and wait for any...

What I meant was: Is it worth waiting to BUY PES3 from the shops in UK, instead of burning WE7 and patching my PS2. It'll be a waste of money if PES3 and WE7 are exactly the same (bar the language), won't it?

Zygalski, there are 2 main dates from various sources. Some say October 26th, and some say November 7th. The sources include Game Chart (October 26th) and Amazon (November 7th).

dellxp4, I think it's Rob Farrar who does the Eurosport games (from the 60's to now) - it's soooooo annoying!!!
