What does the wee red dot on the potential graph represent?

I basically have come to the conclusion that the lower your stats the quicker you improve and the higher they are, the slower.

Yeah I have that done.. But i can only see whats on my usb under the video, image and music selection menu's..I cant see whats on my usb in the saved game utility so therfore i can't copy the files i need to that area to make he option ile work..

Basically I've sopied the file on to my usb. When I put ut in my ps3 and go to game saved utility it cant find anything on my usb. However when I go to images or music on the ps3 main selection menu i can copy the files on to my hard drive and then i cant copy them to the saved game utility...
