We set most of them in desperation last night and they made no difference on a non HD tv...didn't set all of them, but seriously doubt that they'll improve things enough.

Maybe the problem is down to Scart connections rather than the actual TV? Seems like Konami only tested with top of the line tvs?

There's a thread elswhere that tells you to use msconfig and set your ram down to 3gb, annoying but apparently it works.

I've got two Geforce 7600 GTS cards in SLi and it's a damned sight smoother than my nephews' PS3, but still nowhere near as good as it should be. Time to take a look for that resolution changer that's been mentioned.
