Seems to be OK now. Played a bunch of matches on Top Player and seems it's settled back to normal, meaning it's challenging and as it should be. Weird, but very relieved as well.

Played the demo for 2017 A LOT, absolutely loved it, great defensive AI by the CPU, closing you down all the time, just making it very difficult for you to get through and create chances. Played on Top Player, and it was always a good challenge to get a result, and you'd feel proud of that...
