I have the same issue.....solved it by downloading a pirated release which works fine :/ (so please note - I have bought the game and have a legit copy on a dvd, it's just that it won't work, that's why I had to resort to illegally downloading the game....quite awkward)

Oh so true! For those of you playing the game on PC - check out Yair's patch + Jenkey's tool: http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/showthread.php?t=64579 It really, really, adds another dimension to the game compared to the out-of-the-box version (which in a way is sad, but eff it).
