The error i get is this: an error has occured. failed to connect with opponent.

Ever since I've played PES, I've only been able to play quick matches, I can never seem to connect to a match room. I can search for match rooms which then returns a list of match rooms, but even with 3 bars, I can never connect. Is this just me, or all pc users?

i have been playing using Celtic for the last ten games or so, and I've beaten a few barca and inters using them too, so its not impossible. I'm on pc too and I'd be up for playing against anyone here with derby or Celtic or similar. Pm me if you up for the challenge.

From my experience, I've found that using a sweeper system doesn't make much of a difference. The only way I've found to consistently counter the Barca/Brazil/Inter noobs with their run and cut backs, is simply to learn how to defend. After you neutralise their dribbling, you tend to see that...

Yes this has happened to me too. Cobra sounds familiar tbh, so it might've been him. Dunno how he does it, but its obviously another bug that Konami will probably never get round to fixing.

For me, its kite-mort. Record of 26 victories in a row. Was a tight game between us, but he showed skill both defensively and attacking.

My philosophy is that it's all about pass and move, being smart and keeping possession. Then it shouldn't matter what team you play with. Good luck.

Picking a team that is similar to your opponent is merely good sportsmanship - to try and create a fairly level playing field. So when someone picks Barca, completely disregarding the fact that you've picked Blackburn, it just screams of insecurity. Sometimes I almost feel so sorry for the guy...

When originally setting up PES for the first time, I remember setting the difficulty to 'Top Player'. But playing on network mode shows games are being played at Beginner mode - is this right? p.s. I can't seem to find where to go to change the difficulty level - eek! I'm playing using the PC...
