I always keep on fully automatic, the computer seems to be very smart about when to change levels, so I keep in that way. It's also kinda hard to remember to change levels while playing on manual mode. I've tried once and couldn't handle to keep changing levels while moving the players, too...

Run the file settings.exe in your default PES09 folder and choose "Use frame skipping", see if it helps.

It's all about your tactics, don't trust default pre-sets. Move your CB's/SB's to the right place, use defense/attack arrows, and mess with strategies to find how to avoid or at least defend yourself against wing-play.

You guys are blessings. It runs perfectly on WE9 (Xbox version) without the need of a maxdrive. I've just copied the files to E:\UDATA through FTP and that's it. Thanks a lot to everyone involved!
