If you watch 'When Games Attack' on Bravo 10.00am...you'll see some pro footie players taking part in a mini PES tournament. They are second rate players but still pro's nonetheless.

I played Dannyboy 1st with him hosting and it was a really tight game, he scraped an extra time goal. There was only slight lag btw. So I though I'd host and do him over.....lost 4-0 (i think) as host :(. This basically means that I'll happily play a host :)

I prefer the Xbox version (loving the LIVE right now!) but see what you say about the controls......I have a Dreambox convertor on the way. The control is only an issue to PS1/2 Pro Evo players (us veterans), as you're/we're used to that control system. People who are just getting Pro Evo now...

I've had one red card but deserved a few more tbh, also been hacked down by the last man loads of times and never had an opponent sent off. It is a bit crap as it makes it a more sensible option to cripple a player from behind every time rather than let them go 1 on 1 with the keeper.

You do seem to get better power behind your shot when the ball is pushed forward (not under your feet) before you strike. R2 button allows you to adjust your player's approach to a ball in the air. I reckon best time to hit a volley/half-volley is to hold down shoot as the ball is about...

Most players do quit cos they're losing. 90% of quits against me have been when I've scored and waiting for them to kick-off again...when you see they haven't moved for a few seconds you just know that they've ran off scared

Erm...yes.....I play it and have seen a few regulars here on it. If you see me on then send me an invite and I'll play you. I'm fed up of people quitting out when they go behind :(

I've been playing it today and I'm well impressed with it actually. Even when not hosting the game the lag was barely noticeable for me and didn't detract at all from the tense matches. Oh and you did read the post from the PC Pro Evo 4 player with all the lag too...

The quitters are wrecking it at the moment :/ So many have quit even at 0-1 down. Gits. Genuine players feel free to add me and challenge me...I'm not that good but I'm not crap either :)
