    i don't think we have 9 formations total,custom or defense has nothing to do with ball possession/kick-off..for example if you want to change or to stick with the custom/defense tactic you just press the D-pad button..if we had 9 formations, the players will get confused also not only us...

    you're wrong dude..fluid formation is formation that activate automatically when you're on/out possession of the ball,so you don't need to press any button,just like in the real football..you can use right analog to review the formation in gameplan menu after you turn on the fluid formation...
