Wheni have the ball and run towards the goal i often do a fake shot. This seems to hold back the defensive line and gives you the time to do a good shot from outside without having the defenders to charge out on you. Try it out for me it makes a difference.

The shooting is fine. I score long rangers as in past games may be not at the same frequency but its realistic and for me long rangers aare from 25+ m not at the edge of the penalty area.
