I can indeed confirm that this game is shit and not worth owning. The original poster is correct, you can not select to play as the opposition team. This means you can't do a 2 player league with friends unless you expect them to sit for 10 minutes while you play the CPU. What's the point conami?

FF7. It's still the best game ever made even today. Sensible Soccer too of course. And the original Sonic on Master System, that was excellent for it's time.

Unfortunatley, Konami have not included a simple method for doing this. The only option is to run your PS3 through your PC (not sure if or how you do this) and record the video as you play it. Or use a steady hand with your mobile phone.

I have played PES with the analogue stick since it first arrived on PS2. I have probably had about 5 pads in that time. One per year I'd say will do you fine with average play.
