In the older games, before they introduced player wages (I think), even iif you had a bid accepted the player could still turn you down. I used to cheat a bit and save the game first, then reload if they turned me down..... then keep doing that until they accept. :tongue: Ah, that clarifies...

I thought it was the other way around -ie easier to sign players with few bars. At least is was in PES 2015.

Isn't that just for the live updates though? That's not the same as a squad update. It just alters players attributes when playing online, according to their real life form. EDIT - and what TH said. If they only intend to update the squads for online mode I'll be pissed. That's a gamebreaker...

Completely untrue. Of course, it doesn't have to be one or the other, I have owned both in the past. Football games can be very time consuming, especially when you start delving into career mode/ML, so for that reason alone many fans will only buy one of them.

Do they still pronounce the fake player names like they're reading it for the first time? I had to turn the commentary off because of this, when playing the Asian league in PES 2015. Was doing my head in.

If you play Master League, you can indeed play in European and domestic cup competitions. And yes, you can also take charge of a national team - you get offers at the end of each season.

Moshstar - Bhatti loves blocking people on twitter, you're not the first to be blocked harshly, and you won't be the last. I mean, I understand if he blocks people for being abusive, but he just seems to do it whenever someone says something negative.

I still don't think we should be making excuses for them. They've had plenty of time, and when you consider that EA can update the teams on a weekly basis, you'd think Konami should be able to do it every few months! Konami are a big company, not some indie devs working out of their parents...

As long as I can assemble a team of wonderkids, and turn them into Champions League winning stars, I'm happy. :happy:
