I believe you can do time trials but there is no free roam mode. Anyway I've been playing Bad Company 2 religulousy recently.

Finally got my copy of Bad Company 2 from Zavvi (well yesterday) and it's soo good, the best multiplayer game I've played!

Gears Of War 3, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 3, LA Noire. Just a few I can think off the top of my head.

Alan Wake was probably the best 360 exclusive game of last year, apart from Mass Effect 2. Ordered BFBC2 yesterday too, looking forward to trying out the Vietnam expansion.

I voted for Mass Effect 2, if you've played it then you know why it should be game of the year.
