See, stuff like that is what I never touched on in the fallout games and I doubt i'll do it in this game unless it is actually required. In fallout your weapons get weaker and damaged through use so i'm used to repairing them, does the same apply in skyrim, if so I may actually have to look...

If it's like Fallout then you can swim, i slipped into a river and was dragged down a waterfall but was ok in the water afterwards and it was quite deep so I assume it was more than just wading.
