Ok I am not sure about that....read somewhere the mod support for different region varies.like for Winning eleven series its overwhelming and is different for UK and US too. also not sure how payment for paid DLC works for different regions unless he purchases PSN cards.

They are the same unless you are buying Winning eleven series which connects you to the Eastern Asia and South Americas servers while playing online. Also if you play PES12 dvd sold in America in UK or vice versa.it will probably give you problems with DLC(on PS3 dont know about other consoles...

Yes you can but most probably DLC will be region locked.You won't be able to acess it if you are in U.K
