I'm curious as to the sudden influx of PES2011 bile on the site. What in particular is 'cooking' people's gooses? We are fairly close to PES2012, it seems odd to be grumbling so much about a game in its final months of usage.

There's been a raft of these threads reviling Seabass for PES2011, it's all becoming very superfluous.

Meh, I get annoyed with PES every year ... well since PES6 anyhow. Its clearly flawed but its still considerably better than FIFA.

I had Horace goes Skiing, classic. The most memorable game I had as a nipper was "A Day In The Life" (which you played as Clive Sinclair's disembodied Head traveling to work). Bear Bovver was another regular on the Spectrum 48k. Jeez. That was 25 years ago!

Ah .. some classic titles in here ... Well the first Computer game I played was "JET SET WILLY" and the first game I owned myself was "TREASURE ISLAND DIZZY". The Dizzy games are iconic, I'm not sure if PESGaming generation has even heard of them but anyone with a Spectrum or Amiga has no doubt...

Using a laptop or home computer on the internet seriously lags the internet connection as well on the PES servers.

Well thats because the majority of players have been playing since the game was released, granted they're not particularly great because they have decent players and are still languishing in Div 5.

I used this tactic against the CPU a couple of times and seen how the AI has countered it. The CPU tucks its full backs further in field and plays with a deeper back line. I've found having a compact defence does help against this tactic, against players who use this tactic I tend to go 4-5-1...

I've played both and as much as I hate FIFA, the servers are considerably better than Konami's. Do we really need another PES Hating thread? The PES Rage thread still exists rendering this fairly impotent.
