Blimey squire, hard to follow that up as you pretty much nailed everything there in one hit :)
I think in closing that it is unlikely the engine used by Konami for PES is going to change radically when each year a new PES is sculpted from its predecessor. When FIFA went next gen EA used that...
Thats not strictly accurate, Amateur went into a lot of detail about suitability and general issues with control mappings. I think there was intially a misunderstanding about the manual strategies but the argument evolved. I actually agree with him, moving the strategies to the Select button was...
I'm sure given time Konami will come up the PS2 equivalent PES5 (which everyone acknowledged as being probably the best version - I know alot of people love PES3 however) for the PS3. I just hope I dont have to wait for PES2015 before it gets there.
Thats not how it is, there are some of us who are either torn between playing PES or FIFA because they love PES but hate whats happened to it.
We are though all PES fans but we feel let down.
There's nothing wrong with ranting though and the thread title does indicate that this isn't going...
Yeah afraid so, you will have to manually 'shuffle the cards' so to speak if you want Chievo in a league with Spartak Moskva or Lille. It's a bit fiddly when done at speed but the option is there to change it.
I always used them on other PES games but I don't find they help too much on PES2011, if anything I've usually conceded goals when they've been on. Main problem is you can't edit your formation in play unless you use custom formations but sometimes only a small tweak might be needed like asking...
I find neither particularly appealing, I just wish Football manager or Championship manager would extend the game play to include a simulation aspect to the game. Probably too much of a risk really but the opportunity for someone to step into the market place and challenge FIFA and PES is there...
I hear Konami are making "Pro Evolution Ping Pong", Xavi challenges a giant centre back and powns him.
I'm curious, what is it about PES that FIFA heads hate so much and vice versa? I'm sat between the two camps and its like tribal warfare!
It doesn't matter what arguments or Valid points are made?! That is errant nonsense. The point of this thread is so that he can argue what he believe and back them up with Valid points!
If I'm not understanding you its because you're not even understanding what you are writing yourself. When...
The strategies really are due a massive overhaul, there are three at play in PES2011 and I find it frustrating.
EDIT: Apologies Moderators! I double posted again!
If you are seriously telling me that you think a thread entitled "PES11: An outdated game with no on-the-fly-strategies" is going to be Positive about the game then words fail me.
I'm not posting in the threads that like PES, I'm not wandering into "I'm loving PES Thread" and posting "you...
Epic fail. Re-read the pieces and you will see the comments on here are from PES fans frustrated with how the game is constructed. It 'appears' had you read the posts you probably wouldn't have needed to make that totally pointless post.
Ridiculous. Try offering a credible counter arguement...
