Duplicate players can appear on the created players section when you import a team several times, I recommend you check it when you import something and delete any duplicate players. I'm glad you managed to fix it, good gaming ;)

On my game that didn't worked (I tried), I had to transfer the players to other team and only then export the team. It's really a weird bug.
