Compulsion's editor for the US version is out: Could somebody post a plain option file for the PS2? I don't have the game yet, but would like to start tinkering around with the editor, since our dear friends at Nokami like to make things as difficult as possible.

I don't have PES 2008 (yet), but somebody might want to try converting the European files using PS2 Save Builder. This trick worked with the last two versions of WE/PES, although you'd obviously need to change relevant details (ie, using proper PES2008 references):

Well, I've tried the new instructions and kept the folders rooted in C:/, but still no luck. The ripped ISO I get is 721MB, not 655. Going to try it again though, and will report back. I'm just curious if anyone's had the same problem...

When the ripping starts, the adx files can't be located for downsampling. Aat least I think that's the problem. I get this error message at the end: "Code 3021 - Error opening o_sound.afs"

Yeah, no idea here either. Hopefully someone better versed with ripping can help out...in the meantime, I'm trying to get used to the game by playing friendlies. There's a pretty steep learning curve from previous WEs, even more so than usual. Not that I'm complaining...
