You make/find the templates, put them onto a usb stick, plug it into your ps3 and then upload it to your hardrive/pictures. When you go on to edit kit you'll have something like logo/template/picture, just select the template and the font of the kit is done.

How long does this file take to upload to PS3?

No point to that. best it gets released today, the DLC shouldn't harm it that much, only national kits and if they've missed something. I keep refreshing the page to see if the links been posted. lol.
