As you posted in the other thread, I missed that one. I'm at work right now (lunch time of course), but the only fair way forward is that when I get home, I'll see who requested Newcastle first, and the other will need to pick an alternative team.

It really annoys me that the goalkeepers in general are very very stupid. Not only do they come off their line and start shouting "Lob me, lob me!", but they let the ball bounce off them for any follow-up attackers instead of guiding the ball round the posts or out to the sides.

I think whatever we do, people will argue about the best way of choosing teams. Like Fab says, there seems to be enough interest anyway, so let's not waste time and get this thing going as soon as possible!

I'd like to play too, though I realise it's too late. I wonder what you guys would think about having a second division of 10 teams with 2 teams being promoted/relegated at the end of the fixture list? I would be happy to administer the second division and create the table, etc.

I think I have the solution to your problem. I have the same router and have the firewall enabled, and managed to get it working for the first time tonight. What you have to do is click on "WAN ping blocking" under the firewall menu and clear the checkbox which says "Block ICMP Ping".

I found that sometimes I could alt-tab out of PES4; sometimes I couldn't. Then I discovered that when the alt-tabbing didn't work, I could get it to work again by clicking the left mouse button.
