Does anyone have a definitive explanation of how shooting works in this game? I'm currently using a game controller (XBOX 360 controller) on my PC, and can't seem to get the hang of shooting, particularly from range. I've banged some in perfectly, but the majority of the time the shot goes...

Note that this is about top player mode, nothing else. Haven't tried anything lower. AI has to be fixed first. That's the main issue with BaL in my opinion... Teammates are made to be way too stupid. I don't mind them being toned down in terms of speed/power/etc. as increasing difficulty...

One out of a million is a realistic ratio. It's just strange, really... I often get 5, 6, even 12 goals in a game because after around 60 minutes, if the opponent is down, the AI automatically goes red (the aggression bar) and it becomes far too easy to score goals via counterattacks and 1v1's.

I find it ridiculously boring nowadays because the defense AI is so ridiculously bad. It's far too easy to score, even with bad players if you've played enough and understand the predictable AI. Meanwhile, BAL AI defense is just as bad (on your team, anyway). If your player has dribbling...

Also, use super cancel a lot... It really does help, especially with your teammates' usual poor passing... Even if it seems lost, go after it instead of trying running onto a through pass that isn't deep enough at all. When you're near the box, you're much better advised to walk, not run...

Yeah, i actually didn't find it hard surprisingly... I have 94 stamina and 93 speed, and even with really bad shooting stats & top player I managed to get a lot of goals from midfield... I would basically run forward through gaps and play 1-2's for space (we played 4-3-3, so I would kinda play...
