    [ALL] Paul B’s PES5 Coca-Cola Championship OF (v3) 2006/07 Update

fantastic file again Paul B, thanks very much. I think you've got most of the Ipswich stats spot on (maybe Walton is a bit low?), notably the defence now looks realistically dodgy!

    [ALL] Paul B’s PES5 Coca-Cola Championship OF (v2)

Fantastic, can't wait to try this, thanks very much Paul B! I'm going to attempt to win ML on 6* using just current and ex-Ipswich players....

[ALL] PES5 Paul B’s Coca-Cola Championship Option File

hope you sold them to Charlton to keep it realistic!

[ALL] PES5 Paul B’s Coca-Cola Championship Option File

A few more suggestions for the Ipswich team on v2: - you could include Barron in place of McEverley, and Nash or Casement in place of Collins - are Peters' stats too high given that he hasn't broken into the first team? (although you've probably watched him play more than I have) - Billy...

[ALL] PES5 Paul B’s Coca-Cola Championship Option File

Brilliant option file mate, worked flawlessly first time on the PC version. At last I have the chance to play as Ipswich in the Master League, and watch the likes of Garvan, Haynes etc develop into legends! Where do the stats come from? Most of the Ipswich ones look about right, although...

    created players and club teams

play as Southampton in Master League and sign them all up. Then you can download your ML team for other competitions

    Training Fledgling players

definitely (a) otherwise you're likely to end up with an all-round mediocre player. Things like free kicks, curving, defence can be ignored altogether. If you're training a striker start off by maxing his shooting, heading and balance so he can start to contribute a few goals right away, which...

    Training Fledgling players

Seems to vary a bit, usually about one season in Div 2 i.e. 20 games or so. Mine have ranged between 10 and 25 games. I'm restarting 5* ML just using youth players, so I'll be able to give you a better answer in a couple of weeks

    Training Fledgling players

that's rubbish, I trained 4 at once in season 1 on 5* ML, and although I didn't get promoted (lost in the playoffs) one of them, Pepita, emerged as probably the best player in the game with all stats >90 and another, Eliot, has also kept his place at LB. The other 2, Stanley (CBT) and Ibsen...

Your PES3 stats if you were being realistic!

I'm twice your age, 32, and therefore already in footballing decline, even as a keeper! In another couple of years Pro Evolution will be all I've got left!

Your PES3 stats if you were being realistic!

sounds very good; is this at youth level or for a senior team? I was just wondering seeing as you live in Edinburgh too. I'm keeper for a team in the east of Scotland Churches league; probably a much lower level than you!

    Master League Team comparisons

that's an amazing achievement! What formation, tactics did you use? Like some of the others on this thread I've got bored with using the world class players in ML; I'm just restarting now using only youth players. But just using the default players on 5* must be incredibly difficult!

who do you play for, Jasper?

    Train players in ML?

There's a special section called 'promising players' if you go into transfer negotiations, view players by team and scroll through onto the third page. Then sign a few up, play them in matches and allocate points as Trezeguet explains above

    Good, 'unknown' players?

I always found Coridon a bit too lightweight, although it may reflect my lack of skill. Lucky and Slimcasilla are excellent forwards, both seem to be very good at making late runs to power in a header. Sutto (a fictitious player from PES Utd) is a strong CBT, as is Perrier-Doumbe from Auxerre...

its way too diffucult to score from outside the area

Yes, but it was on the second lowest skill level and may well have been a one-off fluke. If I can get the game to stop crashing on my PC I'll have a few more matches

its way too diffucult to score from outside the area

Is this true? I've just bought FIFA 2004 for my PC and was trying to get the hang of the controls with a Arsenal v Spurs practice game. Pressed shoot rather than pass by mistake, and Henry delivered a ridiculous banana shot from 40 yards out that crashed past the bemused keeper. Not on a high...

    Your Best Comeback?

I was losing 3-0 to Arsenal in the WEFA qualifying round, mid-way through the second half, down to 9 men..... So in a fit of rage I got all my players to hack Henry and Bergkamp as viciously as possible to get 3 more sent off and the game abandoned. Not really a comeback, but quite satisfying!

    Does PES3 Cheat you?

Yes, I'd agree this was a bit sad! I was so close every season and became completely obsessed with beating the wretched COM. Still, it made success all the sweeter when it did (eventually) arrive!
