The only thing I like in fifa is the gameplay speed and the speed/animaion of the players when running or just moving with the ball. Everything else - PES if far better. You have to take a step back from PES. Once you do this you will see that it is too arcadey and less like a simulation...

I dont play Fifa anymore, as I said the shooting and passing really sucks. PES6 is the only way to go now. Too fast or too slow.

Yes but Fifa has three different gameplay speed settings. Even the fastest Fifa setting is not as ridiculous as the PES6 speed.

What has become very clear tho is the fact that most people base their PES6 experience solely on the predecessor (PES5). I think this is a very bad thing. What do you think?

OK, they must be coming directly to PES6 after playing PES5. I have been playing PES5, Fifa 2007 and now PES6. Fifa 07 is by far the better game when it comes to gameplay speed and the animations when the players run, jog and sprint with the ball are also far superior. Its a shame that Fifa 07...

I dont want to give an 'in-depth' review of PES 6. I think everyone can make up their mind if they like the overall game or not. Most do like it. But the fact is that the players look stupid when they are sprinting/dashing. Its been like this for a while in PES games.

Yeah its a great franchise no doubt about it and I have always liked Konami's soccer games since ISS Pro on the PSone. I have had every ISS/PES game since 96. I just cant get over how ridiculous the players look when sprinting. I dont understand why people turn a blind eye to this.

This years is all about sprinting rather than passing moves. Fifa has NOT been good at all I totally agree. I hate Fifa as much as the rest of you.

Ok I expected a bashing. But for the past few PES releases the players limbs have always moved too fast and its still the same. I do agree that PES6 is still a good game and there are lots of positives about it. But I just cant ignore how arcadey it has become. I'm not a Fifa fanboy...
