Any way to turn of the loss of stats in players while playing ML games?

I hate when Shevchenko loses one point every season when he is only 27 years old. That is by far the most stupid feature they put into the game pisses me off. How can a player lose stats when he has already mastered them. Does not make any sense at all.

I partially agree with you. Partially because it makes sense for certain stats like stamina, top speed, acceleration. Obviously when you are 40, you are not faster as when you were 20.
Anyways, it's a pain indeed when you see your favorite player loosing stats, or when he stops improving. For example, my Matthews stopped improving at 19, and his stats will decrease soon !!! Crazy Konami !! Stanley Matthews played until the age of 50 !!
For your Schevchenko, have you tried training him in the off-season ?
Because I had R. Ferdinand who lost stats every season but during the off-season he would still improve. Does not make sense at all...

yes it does..ex.ronaldo was better when he was young..
same thing in the game..makes sense doesnt it ? ;)

Yeah I have but it's just so stupid that a young 27 year old player lose stats. I Sheva improving into his 30's in real life I mean. Pisses off. Konami is stupid for doing that. A younger player in his mid 20's should not lose stats period.

look in pes, and add one year.. then you'll se how old he is. I think he is about 26-28 or something.. And yes, he was better when he was younger but then he had to many injruries and therefore he never really found his old shape again..
