Buying players

Hi all!

I am wondering why some players won't come to my team? I'm playing with Club Bruges, promoted to the first division and won it. Won D1 cup. Had MVP Arizmendi with top goal scorer and assist leader. Reasons enough to attract great playerd.

I wanted to replace my -okay but not superb- midfield that i had bought when i was in in division 2. In this forum i found some great names as Gambino, Wiart, Shimizu and others. I already had given players like Gamb and Wiart a contract when they were young. But other players like Shimizu, Palmeiri and many others are now reaching their top capacity and i want to get them in my team.

But the problem is: "negotiations broke down" =|
Why are they refusing to come? I gave millions extra as transerfee, I gave millions as salary, is tried short and long contracts... none worked. What's the problem with these players.

What grade is your team first of all? Is it 'S' or 'A' for example? S is the highest, and makes it far easier to attract big names to your squad.
Also, buying players who have developed so much can be difficult sometimes and they're normally less likely to transfer at their peak, as opposed to when they're still young. You need to look at their propensity to transfer next to their name when you search for them, it'll be between 1-100 where higher numbers mean they're more likely to move. Hope this helps!

I did not know about the propensity. I'll check it out. To be honest, I thougt that number next to the players' name was their shirtnumber

My club ranking is S! Seems like i'll have to search for other talents.
