Buying WE7

I am thinking about buying a slide card for my PS2 but the price of buying WE7 is putting me off. The only place I have seen it is Another World in Nottingham, and its £69.99. Does anybody know where I could get it cheaper, because I don't want to be paying £70 for a game I will be copying to patch anyway.

You really don't want to be buying it from a shop unless the price is much lower. Ordering it online will get the best prices.

Hey ZY, have konami confirmed that the stutter bug was in their first batch? You bought it didnt you?

Mine was fine. Don't think it was the 'first' batch though. Waited a bit for delivery as I already had so I wasn't in a rush.

Have you ever experienced the bug zy? Its becoming rather noticable to me. Ive tried all the tutorials to fix it. i am gonna send mine back.

There is a bit of a problem when the commentary is on but I always leave it off and it's fine.

Thanks for your help guys. I'll probably order it now I know it is a reliable place, could anyone advise me whether its a good idea to buy a slide card from www.psxservices.co.uk? It's only £15 but I don't want to send the money and not get anything.

You should make sure you get the boot disk too as the slide card needs a boot disk to work properly.

Would you recommend bothering to spend prbably 70 quid just so I can play WE7 instead of PES3? I would like to be able to patch the game, is it not too difficult? I have a CD burner.

Applying a simple patch to a WE game is as easy as sending an email attachment.

Doing the more complicated stuff does need a little more time and care but there is plenty of info available to help out. Plus nice helpful people! CD burner is really all you need, as well as the tools and the downloaded patch. If you have broadband, nothing will stop you patching away!

Mate, I wouldn't pay £70 for WE7. You don't want to try to get it online? You can get it for £40 from play-asia.

What's that? There's a Game shop in a forest now? How much do they charge for WE7?

It used to be the best shop in Europe but in the last few years it has deteriorated and now it's not so famous any more. ;-)

I support England and all British teams against foreign teams. I even support Liverpool when they're in Europe but have to be careful not to fall asleep.
