I am new to DVD Burning..I have read the manual etc...however I am lost when it comes to applying Fernando's Menu Patch...
1. Do I need to make an exact copy of my game?
2. Do I burn the PPF patch to the newly made Dvd Rw?
????
Please can someone explian...Also I am afraid of ruining my original disc by overwrting it...accidently..if that's even possible?

hi don't worry you can't write over your original DVD as it is a read only disc.
what you need to do is make an iso image of your original dvd game.
use dvd decryptor to do this(download for free off net, search on google)
in dvd decryptor there is an option to read iso, use this to make an image of your original game on your hard drive.
you then need to patch the iso. you need PPFOmatic you should find this program on here. you also need fernandos patch file.
open ppf and use this to patch the iso dvd image you have made of your original game.
once iso image is patched burn this to dvd using dvd decryptor(use iso write mode) burn at a slow speed and use dvd media you know your ps2 reads.
your ps2 needs to be chipped or have another method of playing backup games or this will not work!!.
